Faculty Services at the Legal Research Center

Welcome to the Pardee Legal Research Center (LRC). You will be working in the region's premier legal collection and facility when you enter USD's law library. Various library services are available to facilitate your research and add to your productivity.

Submitting Manuscripts to Law Journals

The LRC manages the academic journal and publishing management resources accounts for USD School of Law. See below for instructions on how to submit manuscripts to journals for consideration. Please note: the LRC does not submit articles for faculty. Executive Assistants can help with this process.

Some helpful resources for law review submissions:

  • Washington & Lee School of Law's Law Journal Rankings -- A list of law reviews ranked by number of citations in journals and legal opinions. Law reviews are also sortable by specialization.
  • Allen K. Rostron & Nancy Levit, Information for Submitting Articles to Law Reviews & Journals, (newly updated in July 2021) -- Includes a table of each journal's preferred submission method (ExpressO, Scholastica, email, or regular mail) and required citation format

ExpressO (Bepress)

The last day to submit to ExpressO was March 31, 2021. ExpressO shut down June 30, 2021.
