Hours vary during finals, intersession, and summer sessions.
To purchase a book from your faculty funds, contact reference with the bibliographic information that you have and let us know that you’d like to use your faculty funds to purchase it.
Books purchased using your faculty funds are yours to keep forever. In the past, faculty-owned books were stamped and labeled “Faculty Office.” We’ve simplified the process—no more stamps or stickers—so you’re free to take your books wherever you’d like, including your office and beyond.
If you do not want to use your faculty funds consider using a library book checked out from the LRC, Copley, or other libraries via Circuit or Interlibrary Loan. These books must be returned after their respective loan periods.
For textbooks you’re considering, contact the publisher directly to request a review copy:
Donations of materials are accepted from members of the USD law community. Donated materials may or may not be added to the LRC's collection based on collection needs. The LRC is unable to provide itemized lists of donated materials. Prospective donors are encouraged to reach out to LRC Reference with a description of materials they would like to donate.
