Diversity in Sports Law

Introduction

Quote from Jackie Robinson: Plenty of times I wanted to haul off when somebody insulted me for the color of my skin, but I had to hold to myself. I knew I was kind of an experiment. The whole thing was bigger than me. Billie Jean King on Title IX: "You can never understand inclusion until you've been excluded." Title IX: No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
