The Center for Inclusion and Diversity is committed to advancing pluralism, equity, and mutuality at the University of San Diego in the broadest sense by providing the catalyst, collaboration, and accountability necessary to cultivate and sustain a diverse and inclusive university community.
The Black Student Resource Commons (BSRC) seeks to enhance and increase student success and retention by building community engagement, facilitating identity development and supporting students’ college experience. We are a space that advocates and shines light on the Black student experience through purposeful programs and services that honor our diversity. At the BSRC, we strive to support the academic, social and personal goals of all Black students at the University of San Diego.
The LGBTQ+ & Allies Commons came out of a legacy of student activism that pushed for greater visibility and support for LGBTQ+ community members. As a student-run space, our work is informed and carried out by student coordinators and volunteers. We seek to create affirming spaces for queer and trans folks while educating the entire campus community about inclusive strategies.
The United Front Multicultural Commons (UFMC) extends a warm welcome to all students, faculty, staff and community members. We invite all to experience diverse cultures and traditions, explore identities, engage in dialogue, challenge barriers, build leadership skills and empower each other to create an intellectually vibrant, socially just and inclusive community.
